Courtney discovered Chinese Medicine in her late teens, when her mum encouraged her to see an Acupuncturist for women’s health. At the time she had never heard of Chinese Medicine or Acupuncture and admits to being a little needle phobic. But her curiosity got the better of her and she was determined to find out more about this form of medicine. Over the following months Courtney developed a rapport with her Acupuncturist that led her to become her personal assistant. She met with various practitioners in the local area who continued to inspire her. The following year Courtney enrolled at RMIT and never looked back.
Her passion lies in treating musculo-skeletal conditions and she enjoys using the many modalities she has at her disposal to help ease pain. Courtney’s treatments may including acupuncture, cupping, remedial massage, guasha, moxabustion (heat therapy), electro-acupuncture and Chinese herbs. They will always include a good deal of thoughtful compassion.
