Here at Quiescence we believe that beauty comes from within which is why we are so excited about being able to offer constitutional Cosmetic Acupuncture.
Constitutional Cosmetic Acupuncture is truly a holistic treatment. It is not just about your face, it is about your entire well being. When you come in for a treatment we will not only discuss your skin concerns we will also look at how your lifestyle, diet and emotional well being are impacting them.
As always your treatment will be personalized to you needs.
You will receive a constitutional acupuncture treatment (on the body) to address any imbalances and facial acupuncture to directly treat your concerns. As part of the treatment you will also receive a facial cleanse, personalized mask, jade rolling, botanical toner, serum and moisturizer. Our products are all organic, botanically charged and hand made here on site.
There are a couple of way to make use of this fabulous treatment.
Firstly as an intensive treatment to create a change. If you have a specific problem you would like to address such as: fine lines, sagging skin, acne, dry skin, uneven skin tone or Melasma. (See below for links to some studies)
In this instance is recommended to have a series of weekly treatments. Obviously the time it take to create a change will depend on a number of factors, but you can expect to see improvements within the first three to five sessions. As acupuncture has an accumulative affect the following sessions are about consolidation, ensuring the treatment will “stick” for longer. As this is a personalized treatment process, your expectations will be discussed after your initial health assessment.
The second way to enjoy facial acupuncture is as a holistic well being and maintenance treatment. Here it is really up to you how frequently you come, however we generally recommend treatments approximately once per month. We find monthly treatments are a wonderful way to maintain your well being in the face of a busy lifestyle.
