Clay Mask Ance-prone Skin (30ml)

Formulated for oily and acne prone skin this botanical clay is excellent both as part of your double cleansing routine, or as a deeply detoxifying treatment. Zeolite clay has an extremely porous nature and an amazing ability to bind to deep seated impurities in the skin, while white kaolin clay gently absorbs excess oils and nourishes the cells with its high silica and mineral content. Combined with therapeutic herbs traditionally used to clear toxic heat from the skin, plus a healthy dose of soothing micro-ground pearl, this mask will purify and calm your skin whilst imparting essential minerals and nutrients.

We have kept this botanical clay in it’s powder form allowing you to use it in a variety of ways - as a daily cleanse, gentle exfoliant, cleansing mask, spot treatment or a deeply nourishing skin treatment.

TO USE:

1. Light exfoliant/daily cleanse: mix ¼ - ½ tsp of clay with purified water or hydrosol to form a thin paste. Gently massage into skin using small circular motions. Rinse off with warm water.

2. Mask: Mix ½ tsp with purified water or hydrosol to form a thickish paste. Apply evenly to clean skin and leave on for up to 5 mins. Wipe off with warm, damp cloth as soon as it starts to feel dry.

3. Spot treatment: mix a very small amount of clay with pure water or apple cider vinegar to make a thick paste. Apply locally to pimples to draw them out. Leave for 20 mins or longer.

4. Deep skin treatment: mix ½ tsp with our Therapy oil, Balance serum or a pure non-comedogenic oil such as jojoba to make a thin paste. Apply evenly to clean skin and leave on for up to 10 mins. Wipe off with a warm, damp cloth.
