Belinda (she/her) is a registered practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal
medicine. She is passionate about integrative, proactive, and individualised
approaches to health—supporting people through every phase of life.
Originally on the path to becoming a psychologist, Belinda has always been drawn to
work that supports people in meaningful and compassionate ways. However, it was
not until her own experiences with Chinese medicine later in life that she decided to
pursue further learning in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Following her own experience of recurrent miscarriage, and in a time of deep grief
and uncertainty, Chinese medicine became a turning point. Treatment supported her
physical recovery and helped her navigate the emotional weight of loss-acknowledging the interconnectedness and inseparability of the physical, mental, and emotional. She connected deeply with this philosophy and in the ability to see, and treat, the whole person.
In the years that followed, Chinese medicine supported her through IVF treatment,
helping to prepare her body, reduce the impact of medications, and provide steadiness during an often overwhelming and vulnerable process. The support and advocacy she received from her practitioners inspired her to practice Chinese medicine, and to share the power of the medicine with others. Her lived experience informs her clinical work with sensitivity, respect and genuine empathy.
Belinda’s areas of interest
Belinda has a special interest in supporting health across every phase of life,
including:
- Menstrual health e.g. heavy periods, endometriosis, amenorrhea, fibroids,
PCOS - Fertility, IVF support, and reproductive health
- Perimenopause and menopause
- Digestive health
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health
- Sleep disturbances
She recognises that concerns in these areas are often interconnected and works to
address underlying patterns rather than just symptoms.
Treatments with Belinda
Belinda brings warmth, gentleness, and deep empathy to her work. She understands
how vulnerable it can feel to seek support. Her treatment room is a space where
patients feel heard, respected, and safe to share their stories.
She believes healing happens not only through treatment, but through connection,
education, and helping people feel more at home in their bodies- enabling lasting
change and improvement.
Belinda integrates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, and
Japanese techniques, including abdominal palpation and gentle needling methods.
Her treatments are tailored to each individual, recognising that no two people—and
no two health journeys—are the same.
She is also a strong advocate for integrative healthcare and works collaboratively
with patients and their broader healthcare providers to ensure care is cohesive,
considered, and supportive from every angle.
Belinda is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
(AHPRA) and the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia, and is a member of the
Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). She is
recognised by all major private health funds, and rebates are available for eligible
consultations.
