Annalise (she/her) graduated from R.M.I.T in 2003 with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Chinese Medicine and a dream to build a ‘busy, cosy little clinic’. She spent years working under the guidance of other, successful practitioners while at the same time working on her dream. Twenty years, and four clinic fit-out’s, later Annalise is proud of what Quiescence has become. She loves the clinic’s ‘forever home’, the practitioners who share the space with her and mostly the community of people who come for treatments.
Annalise’s Area’s of Interest
Over her years of practice Annalise has found great joy in assisting those with menstrual health disorders such as endometriosis, PCOS and menorrhagia (heavy bleeding). She has gained much experience in supporting male and female reproductive health for both natural conception and for those undergoing IVF and other assisted reproductive treatments. These days nothing makes Annalise happier than seeing a face from many years ago returning for acupuncture to assistance with transitioning through perimenopause into menopause.
While she believes in a holistic, natural approach to health Annalise also believes in the importance of integrated medicine. She happily works alongside other health and medically trained professionals, especially in relation to fertility enhancement.
Treatments with Annalise
Treatments with Annalise will include an in depth look at the issue at hand as well as delving into both lifestyle and diet habits. Treatment plans are discussed and involve a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicines as well as nutrition and lifestyle advice. Annalise is a regsitered practitioner, she is covered by all major health funds and her patients are eligible for private insurance rebates on consultations.
