Courtney’s Area’s of Interest

Since returning from her clinical internship in Nanjing China in 2018, Courtney has continued to deepen her knowledge of women’s health conditions, integrating the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine into our modern lifestyles in the West. Having experienced her own issues with women’s health and acne in the past Courtney holds value in body literacy, i.e. one’s ability to observe and understand the language of one’s own body. This underpins her practice in helping women and girls feel empowered and at ease when it comes to their health.

“The balancing act of listening to your body, trusting your intuition and staying motivated is a skill that we continuously learn and improve. Developing this skill takes something called body literacy. Body literacy requires intentional observation, reflection and self compassion. Without the need to over-pathologize or intellectualise the human body and its complexities, you can simply ask yourself a few key questions and the answers may give you some insight, over time you may even notice patterns and correlations.”

Treatments with Courtney

Courtney is full of vital energy and positivity. She is clear and focused both with her treatment plans and her interactions with others. A treatment with Courtney will leave you feeling cared for and just a little bit brighter.

“I love the diversity of our medicine and enjoy treating a wide range of health concerns utilising my unique combination of skills. From women’s health to neck pain and everything in between, Chinese Medicine really does have something for everyone. I am passionate about approaching your health issues with curiosity, authenticity and integrity.”

Courtney is registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia and can provide health care rebates for acupuncture, remedial massage and herbal medicine consultations.
