Welcome Chloe! 💫 We are very excited to be welc Welcome Chloe! 💫
We are very excited to be welcoming Chloe (@chloestevens_acupuncture) to the Quiescence family.
She is a highly qualified and experienced practitioner with a passion hormonal health and wellbeing.
Chloe holds two bachelor degrees in Health Science and Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Gynaecology, Fertility and Obstetrics from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, and an Advanced Certificate in Cosmetic Acupuncture. This extensive training allows her to treat from a balanced and informed perspective that complements any existing western medicine diagnosis or treatment plan.
Before joining us Chloe worked across several women’s health and fertility clinics in London, where she was mentored by some of the UK’s leading Chinese Medicine practitioners. During her time in the UK, she also founded and operated her own successful clinic in Chelsea, London – a highlight of her years abroad.

Chloe treats a broad range of conditions, with a particular passion for supporting women’s reproductive health from menstrual irregularities such as amenorrhoea, endometriosis, and PCOS; to supporting clients on their journey to parenthood from conception (natural or assisted), pregnancy, labour preparation, and postpartum care. She also supports clients with digestive health, stress and anxiety management, and offers cosmetic acupuncture to enhance skin health and provide a natural alternative to harsh cosmetic enhancement treatments.

Chloe is available for treatments on Fridays and Saturdays

Stress , irritability and muscular tension all ind Stress , irritability and muscular tension all indicate Liver Qi is not flowing smoothly, while anxiety, overwhelm and feeling ungrounded related back to a lack of Liver Blood.

As the Earth point on a Wood meridian Liver 3/Tai Chong aims to ground AND free flow the Liver Qi meaning that it helps the Liver Qi to move energy smoothly through the body, clearing tension and allowing us to ‘go with the flow’.

To find Liver 3 run your finger upwards from the web between your first and second toes towards the top of the foot until your finger is stopped by bone. There is a small depression where you’ll find the point. It’s usually quite tender.

DM for more info or book an appointment on line (link in bio) ♥️
Spring & the Wood Element 🌱🌸🌱 In Chinese Spring & the Wood Element 🌱🌸🌱

In Chinese medicine’s 5 Element Theory spring resonates with the Wood element.

🌱 Energetically the movement is up and outwards, sprouting from the seed deep in the soil upwards toward the sun.
It is a time where buried hurts and old injuries can come to the surface and it can feel like a real struggle just to get moving.

🌱 Internally the Liver and Gallbladder organs are energetically heightened. Eat sour to support the Liver Qi, bone broths and protein to nourish the Liver Blood and bitter to support the Gallbladder.

🌱 Physically take special care of your ligaments, tendons and joints (especially those knees and ankles!) Stretching and breathing deep into the diaphragm is key.

🌱 Emotionally when the Wood element is not supported it easily turns to frustration, irritability and anger. Balance this with kindness, both for yourself and others.

If you find yourself struggling with this time of year book yourself in for a treatment. You’ll be glad you did ♥️
S H I A T S U 🤗 A beautiful way to address pai S H I A T S U 🤗

A beautiful way to address pain and reset the nervous system when the body is feeling hypersensitive.

Shiatsu is a Japanese massage therapy which follows the principles of acupuncture. Nicola likes to say ‘it’s like doing acupuncture with my fingers’.

Firm pressure is applied to acupoints and meridians to release muscular tension, clear energy stagnation and create healthy physical and emotional flow.

Shiatsu massage is performed on a FULLY CLOTHED client - no oil - and is an excellent treatment option for needle sensitive people and kids.

To book a shiatsu treatment please call the clinic or book online. links in bio ♥️
